People who do not have that problem, do not even begin to understand what you are actually up against, where human beings you love, are immovable objects. Speaking for myself, I can really attest to the fact that having to choose between family and place, is a bitter pill. I don't live where I want to be because family here will not relocate. I can't make them. And I won't leave them. People either feel threatened by being in California, or they are so unaffected they can be in denial and are free to enjoy, for instance, the glorious coastline. So ignore the flippant judgemental responses you will probablly get.

So much more to the One Child policy. They killed extra babies in the hospital by giving them a lethal injection through the fontanel into the brain.
