Sit down one on one with your kids and without criticizing your wife, ask them to articulate or respond to questions about what they think is right and wrong, fair and unfair, situationally, in this world that differentiates between Left and Right philosophies. Even very small kids can hear about something and indicate which seems right to them and which seems wrong. At this point the best thing you can do is help them see the difference between thinking for themselves and being mindless puppets of media.
