Working as a fuel truck dispatcher in Oregon. Big thanks and respect needs to be given to police, firefighters, and the truck drivers who are risking their own lives getting fuel to these stations where people are evacuating. Working with these guys has been an absolute pleasure.

A part of me has always held onto abortion rights in the event of a life threatening pregnancy that would kill the mother / mother and child, or in the event of pregnancy from child rape, or cases of rape in general. That being said, my wife and I have fertility issues and we have looked down the barrel of the adoption process and it is staggering how much you have to go through. If people are having third trimester abortions, rather than giving the baby a chance for life and a chance to live with a family that would love it, even if they are not their biological parents, then that’s just wrong.

My wife and I are looking at not being able to have children - even the adoption process is completely fucked. We talk (half jokingly) about waiting at hospitals for abandoned babies or just stealing them from people’s homes when we see references in the news about parents methed out of their minds with the kids in the house. But George can have kids and still can’t get his shit straight. Makes sense I guess.
