Since certain "progressive" folks working in Silicon Valley have appointed themselves as the arbiters of the internet, they've been taking down a lot of videos. Luckily for us, there's a few easy ways for us to save videos on various social media sites.

YouTube

For YouTube, you can download a free program called VLC Media Player. You can use it to stream YouTube videos, and from that point you can recover a URL that you can use to download a full length video. (Note: Not sure if this works for livestreams).

For Twatter, you can use the site below to "download" videos embedded in tweets. I say "download" because it really just points you to where on Twitter's servers the videos are stored.

Unforunately I tried using VLC and it didn't work, but after playing around with Brave's developer tools this might be one of the easiest sites to download videos from.

1. Open your browser's developer tools (Ctrl + Shift + I on Brave/Edge and I think Chrome/Firefox as well)
2. Go to "Network".
3. Navigate to the Streamable URL you want to download (if you are already there, just reload the page)
4. Under the "Name" column, look for an item with ".mp4" in it. It's pretty predictable, e.g. if you're on https://streamable.com/nwak30, then there should be an item named "nwak30.mp4?...". Right click on that and "Open in new tab". A file save dialog should automatically appear in most browsers.

When all else fails...

You can always use screen recording software.

Feel free to re-upload your video to a non-cucked site like Parler or https://video.maga.host/. Also add any additional advice or instructions for Zuckbook in the comments.

I saw another thread about a pede managing to red fill his friend and I was going to respond with a sort-of rant about how I tried to do the same recently but was accused of being "obsessed" with guns. But as I started typing it out I realized it should be its own thread (sorry it's long folks!).

I don't think really like bitching about this kinda crap, but something about it felt off and I kinda wanted to get it off my chest. To be fair, I wouldn't consider him a total liberal, but based on my other conversations with him it seems like a lot of people around him are shitlibs (he does live in LA County). At least he said, "You know, you're the first one to say something like that" when I argued that, regardless of whether or not HCQ worked, the fact that it was politicized the way it has been was ridiculous. He also said that the Democrat Party basically brainwashes people in college into SJW ideology.

Friend: I don't get why people need guns.

Me: I saw the riots and want to protect myself.

Him: But the riots only affected cities far away.

Me: I lived literally a county over from where a mob of people were attacking drivers and one of them had to drive through them.

Him: Yeah but were YOU actually in fear?

Me: Yes, because I've driven off that exact same freeway exit multiple times before. Wasn't your town literally trashed by rioters? I saw the videos. Looked like they looted everything.

Him: Yeah but I wasn't there when it happened. I only knew about it from the news.

Him: Look at all the people on the beach right here. A guy with an AR could take out everybody here. Look, people in Europe don't have the need for guns because they have strong police.

Me: Look, I understand that. I don't agree with it, but I can see how if you have strong police then you wouldn't really feel strongly for guns. But look at what politicians are doing. They're talking about defunding the police and doing it. Crime is skyrocketing everywhere they are doing that.

Him: I haven't seen the stats, but why are you so obsessed with guns? Have you ever felt personally in danger? Why do we need guns for something that's not gonna affect you.

Me: Are you afraid of a fire burning down your apartment? Then why do you have smoke detectors and fire extinguishers?

Him: That's different. You can't take a life with a fire extinguisher.

Me: Okay, but if you're gonna come at it from that angle, why do you care about taking guns aways? I mean, if you look at the statistics, you're more likely to die from lots of other shit before you get killed by a gun. Gun homicides have been decreasing for awhile now.

Him: Why are you so obsessed with guns?

I didn't know how to reply to that in the moment. But I realized it was a dumb ad hominem attack and it kinda annoyed me that he didn't seem to be arguing in good faith even though we're pretty honest about everything else.

As a racist, I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 because respectable media outlets like CNN, Vox, and Buzzfeed told me he shared my views. However, as time wore on, I saw that his economy led to the lowest black unemployment rate in history. Furthermore, he signed the First Step Act which let many blacks out of prison early, and I found out he even dated a black woman!

Owning a construction company in California, I always had to abide by silly government laws regarding "non-discrimination" when I competed to build the infrastructure of California. For example, Article I, Section 31 of the California constitution says, "The State shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting." WTF? That sounds like the "content of one's character" bullshit MLK Jr. spouted.

However, I realized that I had an ally in the California Senate Democrats. They passed a bill (https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=201920200ACA5) that would remove Article I, Section 31 of the California constitution and therefore allow me to get rid of all the undesirables I never wanted to hire in the first place.

I have to say this experience has made me come to understand why my great-grandpa, a grand wizard of his klan, was such a big Democrat. Unlike Republicans, who talk to colored folk like they're equals (https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2018/11/30/white-liberals-dumb-themselves-down-when-they-speak-black-people-new-study-contends/), Democrats like Joe Biden tell it like it is like when he describes black people as "jive folk in the inner city who want to be the next Michael Jordan."

Please vote Yes on Proposition 16. Don't recall Gavin Newsom. Make America Racist Again.

And remember. If you're colored and can't decide between Trump and Biden, then you ain't black.
