My red pill was reading Podesta’s emails myself. I was fairly anti-politics before that, but I could not ignore what I was reading straight out of his inbox with no news filter.
We drove through there yesterday. Took the exit the get gas, was stopped by the national guard. He asked if we had enough gas to make it to the next town and sent us right back on the highway.
The guy was nice about it - so that’s a plus. They had every road into town blocked off my manned police cars. All I could think was how expensive it will be to pay people to block off every road while not accepting any tax revenue from travelers.
Hadn’t heard about 2 people per car. I had all my kids with me. What about single parents with 2 kids under 3 that need groceries? Leave one at home? Costco has a 2 person limit per membership card. They made an “exception” for my wife and I and our 1-year old. How kind of them to let us buy groceries without leaving a baby in the car.
Also my wife is pregnant, which means technically she isn’t supposed to even go to the grocery store. Thank goodness I’m not deployed overseas or a truck driver or something.
