She’s very liberal and almost falls into the category of leftist. What’s funny is that she’s big on the lockdowns. She thinks lockdowns and shutting down economies and restricting customers were absolutely necessary to save lives. I know, gag....
What makes it funny is that she works in the government social support field. She helps people who have lost their jobs find new jobs, who have lost their homes find temporary housing, who can’t pay their bills resources to help pay bills or find cheaper solutions. We were talking yesterday and she was complaining about how horrible it is that so many people have lost their jobs and are struggling to find housing and provide for themselves. I casually asked, “you said you support lockdowns, right?” Surprised, she said yes, and asked why. I pointed out a lot of these people she is working with are probably losing everything because the govt shut a lot of businesses down. She replied “well, but it was necessary to save lives”. I responded “what’s worse, having a job and getting sick or not having a job and losing everything?”
You should have seen the look on her face. It was priceless. I could see the red pill sliding down her throat. She ended the conversation after that, but I could tell I made a pretty strong point.
A friend of mine recently purchased a RIA 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun (yeah yeah, I know RIA is cheap, but it was the best he could get his hands on). The manufacturer stated that you need to run “2-3/4”, 1250fps, #7.5 1-1/8oz” rounds for a break-in period. Makes sense. Where we are confused is their definition of “light load” vs “heavy load”. The shotgun comes with interchangeable pistons, one for light load and one for heavy load. My friend emailed the manufacturer, who said that the light load configuration was for 2-3/4” rounds and heavy load configuration was for 3” rounds (and yes, the shotgun can handle both sizes). That didn’t make sense to us. The reading I had done said you can have both light and heavy loads for both size rounds, that the load size is determined by shot size.
Can anyone provide some clarification? My friend and I are new to shotguns, apologies for the ignorance.

I really don’t understand. I csnt figure out the REAL reason for stoping the pipeline. We all know all of our politicians are bought and paid for. We also know climate change is the bullshti lie excuse to shut down the pipeline. Is it that the owners of the pipeline only have GOP in their pockets? I find that hard to believe. I saw somewhere where various transport agencies (trains) have a lot of Dems in their pocket. If the pipeline doesn’t exist, trucks and trains make the money to haul the oil instead.
