I love Trump and am grateful for all he did, but he does owe everyone an explanation for the 6th. Thousands were left hanging and hundreds more were subject to FBI scrutiny. I believe Bidens' forces took complete advantage of the situation and Trump isn't saying anything because that would be an admission of them beating him.

1984 baby here, us Elder Millenials (aka Oregon Trail Generation) are literally the final ones in all of mankind to know what life was like before the internet.

This social experiment in the military can't crash and burn fast enough.

I think we need to start aiming our meme cannons at the woke brass more.

Haha holy shit I wonder if he's buddies with crenshaw lol

I guess my next question is, how is the infantry/combat arms MOS's holding up nowdays? I was maintenance for Arty units, and most of them have been deactivated so I don't even know what the FA units are like anymore.

That was expected since it came from the top. Every branch was gonna be affected by it.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is the Corps doing a bunch of virtue signalling shit the Army has been doing lately, i.e. walking in a parade in uniform in high heels, bombarding MTG office with intimidation cookies, etc.

The military was the very first thing they got their claws on. I don't know why people have this fairy tale idea that the armed forces was always impervious.

If you're looking for "based soldiers", they're the older NCO'S keeping their mouths shut for the time being.

The bureaucrats have been allowing the soyboys in the ranks because they're the ones who take admin jobs, not front line duty. Obama did this to strengthen the bureaucracy. The pen really is mightier than the sword.

The upper brass is really who you need to keep an eye on. Enlisted work their way up. Junior officers study their way up. Field grade officers politic their way up.

You're not telling me something I don't already know. I was in Baghdad for 15 months, I deployed during the Bush Surge and was there in Sadr City spring of 08.

What I'm trying to get at is our military is NOT invincible, and those of us who served know this all too well.

You're missing the point. Even the most technologically advanced military equipment can be brought down with homemade junk. Most of the munitions we faced in Iraq was literally explosive garbage. Charlie in Nam wasn't any more advanced than Hajji and they could totally wreck our shit.

Fuck the UCP! Garbage ass camo. The new OCP is way better. Hell, even the new pinks and greens are tight. I've thought about buying a set even though I've been out for 10 years.

This is the truth. In fact the local news is worse. You get all the bullshit from a local face that You Can Trust™

Because I think the old one works best with WW2/Cold War1 style politics, which is something we need to move past. Tech companies have more power than governments, which is making the old blue-blood elite push for a return to imperial style rule, coupled with modern tech.
