I know Parlor were asp conservatives but I couldn’t help but feel like it was weird how fast they came out of no where and how hard they were being pushed. Al while Gab had grinded away at it for years refusing to give up.

Yeah, your physical home servers sure, but the entire internet doesn't run off your home server. You have to connect to other servers which requires a leap of faith that they're not honey pots. Easier to just assume it's tracked/traced/logged/spied on by default

Possibly. But going off what the mods have reported, they don't store raw IP addresses (they're hashed) and you can sign up without an email. Pretty close to an A rating in terms of not collecting information
