he's more worried about his status or power as a mod than the community
nailed it.
no ohter way to explain leaving the mod team but also refusing to hand the domain over to the remaining mod team. doesn't make any sense.
maybe if you were forced out but he didn't say he got forced out, he says he left and that he wanted nothing to do with it anymore
So why not give the domain back? power and status.
If you watched the rest of the interview, he says he was a 2016 Ted Cruz (v1) supporter and started supporting Trump AFTER he won... Confirmation bias, I know.. But still.. if the shoe fits.
These are my thoughts as well.
Most of the Kushner hate seems to stem from people doing their own reading between the lines and accusing him of being a voice in Trump's ear telling him to cuck
But I haven't actually seen any real proof he screwed Trump. And arguably, Kushner seemed to do a lot of good work reaching peace deals in the middle east which may be one of Trump's most powerful lasting legacy.
Gets a lot of heat but never truly stabbed in the back like MANY others. And at this point, that counts for a lot.
No one, not even Trump would have expected the entire system to close ranks to protect corruption because they don't like him and his 75 million+ supporters.
Trump has had an entire lifetime/career of the system more or less upholding its function.
You get wronged, you take it to court, you keep pushing and eventually you get your day in court. I doubt any of his massive experience in court would have prepared him to expect that level of dereliction of duty.
the even shorter version is "guy falls into the same trap that everyone falls into when the SJW crowd comes after you: resigns, pledges to be better and is still lied about and abused by the media/the left anyway"
over the last 4 years, he did not learn how to fight
In the interview he said he supported 2016 v1 Cruz and only started supporting Trump after he won.
To me, that explains a lot. This isn’t a pede who walked beside Trump despite the shit that went down before the election and possibly why he thought he’d be able to do an interview to get ahead of the fake news (Lol!)
Summary of the situation as I understand it (from an absolute nobody, but I did figure out the true meaning of the “FBI Honey Pot” warning post while everyone was talking about Glowies then started researching/paying more attention)
-
Rouge Mod registered the domain
-
Jan 6 is when the domain stand off bubbles over.
-
Rouge Mod gets identified by media (somehow). Panics (tbh who wouldn’t) quits the team and says “I’ll do an interview because otherwise they’ll blame me and I’ll become a target from feds and whoever else and I was the one who was saying we should be more restrictive”. Rest of mod teams says “no, don’t do it, did you not just watch the media spin and lie for the last 4 years?!”
-
Does it anyway. Gets basically the same outcome that could have been predicted. Duh. But now has thrown the rest of the mod team under the bus. But what can you expect from a Cruz 2016 guy who only started supporting Trump after he won (rouge mods words)
-
Rouge Mod realises he’s got no leverage to force the other mods to do anything. The only thing he’s got is the domain, no access to the servers or anything.
-
Rogue mod refuses to transfer the domain even after leaving because Doggos is pretty much the sole guy keeping this running and he’s foreign and Rogue Mod thinks that’s too big of a risk. Rogue mod is upset because Doggos has a tight grip on controlling the servers and code (after having basically built the whole thing himself)
-
Rouge Mod power trips. Holds onto the domain to “do the right thing” and protect against Doggos having full control of the whole thing. Picks successful business owner guy in the mod team he trusts and declares “he will only transfer it to this guy”. He declines supposedly because he doesn’t want the drama and exposure (I would guess his business is paying for a few of the bills around here but could be wrong)
-
Rouge Mod does hour long long form interview where he gets really guarded when someone asks and the host agrees he’s doing himself a disservice by saying he wants to leave and have nothing to do with thedonald but also refusing to give up the domain, something doesn’t add up.
-
Rouge Mod makes the claim that he will transfer the domain if Doggos shares the code with the rest of the mod team. I am not sure if this happened or not.
-
Win team gets increasingly worried about some guy who left the team and did an interview to save his own ass having sole control of the domain and what would happen if he sold it to someone or tried to build his own platform or whatever. Basically how much can you trust someone who’s no longer in the team having the ability to just turn it off in one go.
-
Instead of being at risk or unsure, Win team renames to patriots.win. (No more rankings etc :( )
-
Rouge mod shits the bed because his leverage is gone and turns the site off to prevent them from manoeuvring power out of his hands
I don’t care what you say it will always be “TheDonald” to me.
I’m here for Trump and I’ll always be for Trump.
I assume LONGER term we’re gonna see patriots.win/c/thedonald and I’ll be there fighting the good fight in honour of the greatest conservative in living history
This is the root problem. You can’t vote bureaucrats out and when the pesky people speak up and elect someone they don’t like, they just slow walk everything.
And then when someone cheats and the outcome matches what they want then they just keep quiet because they liked the outcome.
They are the system. When you elect a guy that’s supposed shake the whole system up, they move in to clog it up and protect their own interests.
What’s the point of this?
The real low IQ strategy is to try to attack and insult the Q crowd.
That would be EXACTLY what the left wants. They want the left to turn to fighting each other instead of fighting the uni party.
The Q crowds sin was believing that maybe, just maybe, the system wasn’t totally fraudulent and there was more than just one man in DC fighting for the people... can’t really blame them for that.
My hunch is more than likely that Q wasn’t a psyop but just autist that’s very across the details and wanted to “help”. For me that explains why some predictions were seemingly right while others were wrong. The reason I don’t think it was a psyop is because what it led people to discover way too much and it taught people how to discover it for themselves.
he broke ranks to save his ass.
he did pretty much what 99% of people do when they're targeted by the SJW community..
They panic, resign their position hoping they will be treated nicely, disavow, apologise and hope they get softer treatment
the WSJ article was shockingly fair but it also allows for building the deplatforming narrative ("yes all those other mods are violent, not me. They should be doing more to censor free speech! They need to be taken off line")
holding onto the domain after quitting is one of the most "huhhh???" decisions out. In his interview he says he's worried because Doggos is a foreigner, ok sure, but you quit and said you wanted nothing to do with it, so what's it matter to him now?
to me, it's coming across as the guys contribution was buying a domain only. he got a taste of the power, liked it, couldn't usurp more because his only skill was purchasing a domain before another mod. Then after the 6th freaked out and wanted to keep the power but also have no risk (quitting the mod team)... and here we are
