The more this stuff comes out the more certain I become that there's a metaphorical grenade that's about to go off in all of our faces. I'm excited, impatient, but I'm also very nervous because there's still so much we don't know and there's a lot of anxiety thinking about what's going to be uncovered in the coming weeks, months, and years.

The funny part is Omar and Cortez are fielding attacks from the radical left as well (see Jimmy Dore's twitter feed) because the radical leftists are pointing out that they are quislings. They're literally useful idiots, no one likes them and their only purpose is to keep the young and stupid funneling votes to the Democrat party.

All of the above but mostly election and voter fraud. As a matter of fact some counties in Texas actually went red this year, they're majority Hispanic. But it turns out that a lot of Mexican and South American immigrants want the fucking wall.

Remarkable. The meltdown was completely unprovoked and yet it happened spontaneously. This requires further study.

A lot of it comes down to ease of access and how motivated people are to keep searching for a website after its been taken down. People are very motivated by porn and hentai. Can they similarly be motivated by politics?

The internet is a very big place and it takes a lot of work to get a website taken down, but eroding one more layer of protection is not doing us any favors. We will also be hunted and sought out to a degree we have never seen before: recall that AOC wants to put us in concentration camps.

It's not necessarily doomsday but it is bad fucking news if 230 actually gets repealed in full. We cannot hide from the world's sole superpower once they turn the eye on us.

230 could easily be enforced and it would give similar results with busting up big tech. heck even reform could lead to this.

it's removal will change the landscape of the internet as we know it. I do not believe it will be for the better. It only give the advantage to big corporations like Facebook and Google. Do you think they don't have enough money to pay black hats to go on Twitter or MeWe, post forbidden content, and then open their competitors up to lawsuits that will destroy them? Do you think Google doesn't have enough money to fight all of the lawsuits that this will open them up to? Do you think that we could host our content in other countries and flee the world's only superpower?

The idea that this will not benefit corporations with more money than God is at best ignorant.

230 needs to be reformed or enforced, those are the only two good options. Repealing it opens us up to more corporate crony capitalism.

The problem is Silicon Valley has enough money and a shared ideology that they can whether a storm like this.

However the other problem is that Ajit Pai and Congress are made up of cowards who refuse to enforce the law as it is written, which would give us the effect Trump needs.

Let me put it this way, once 230 is repealed then thedonald dot win will disappear the moment some /pol/ack starts ranting about kykes controlling America.

If Trump has a secret plan to crush these people, as has been memed for 4 years, then the coming moment is when he should drop the hammer.

I don't blame people for being disheartened but for goodness sakes folks it isn't over yet

What I find hopeful is that Americans are standing up for themselves. California had a huge rally, New York had some business owners in Buffalo straight up bully a sheriff and a health inspector out of their restaurant, and in New Jersey some women got right up in the NJ governor's face while he was eating dinner and they started screaming at him for being a piece of shit.

They'll have to arrest us, send us to concentration camps and gas chambers, and kill every last one of us to destroy our spirit. And we know that they aren't capable of that. There are over 70 million of us.

Eat shit, deep state.

This is interesting but I also think it misses the forest for the trees a little bit as the second half of the 20th century paved the way for many of the problems we currently face. The deep state became entrenched, the CIA started demanding endless wars, the Soviet Union was finalizing their infiltration into Western society etc. GK Chesteron's quote about conservatives failing to conserve anything comes to mind and he's been proven correct again and again.

Conservatism doesn't seem to do very much except provide the most basic of templates for approaching life which is all fine and good except that other ideologies also provide similar templates. Conservatism after all set off the Gulf War.

god bless Alex Jones, he's rolled with every single punch thrown at him, not even deplatforming was able to stop him because he knew it was coming and prepared for it

These people need to stop flipflopping, are they going to rescind the certification tomorrow and then refuse to audit, and then re-certify the day after that and audit, and the decertify again?

Can none of these people take up a concrete position at all? It's like Dems are the only ones who have been clear and straight forward from the beginning

3
whoablackbetty 3 points ago +3 / -0

What this actually tells me is that no one knows what conservatism actually is, if having low taxes and minimal regulations isn't conservatism than what actually is? Throwing gay people off rooftops? I don't think too many people on this sub want such a thing but it's the only "genuinely" conservative position I can think of.
