Funny thing is Los Angeles is overwhelmingly liberal so they can't use that tactic for that one or any of the top California counties. This is why the media is nearly silent on covid in California, masks aren't working there.
Los Angeles currently has the highest weekly death count and covid cases of anywhere in the country. It's also a fact the top 23 out of 25 counties with the highest deaths in the last week have all been blue counties. The two that aren't blue are barely red. 35% of all weekly deaths and 32% of weekly cases are in those 25 counties.
Reboot your phone, that was happening to me a few days ago and that fixed it.
