Yes...but a lot of this was purely because Trump was the aggressor and wanted to speak far more often. Biden basically didn't say anything substantial the entire night except to struggle through answering each question coherently.
If she never interrupted Trump then he'd never stop talking and burying Biden TBH. And that's what we love about him.
Eh maybe so, but we shouldn't go so hard on Piers just because he disagrees. The guy may have stupid as fuck policy beliefs, but he seems like he's principled. If all liberals were like this guy we would be in a much better place.
Not entirely true...
Honestly, he's just British. He is about as based as a Brit can get that hasn't become absorbed into american politics.
He's a good BLOKE, but he's still a brit and comes from a different world politically. He's a literal representation of why the US left England.
He's a perfect example of a liberal we should show respect to, listen to, and debate. We can disagree, but there is enough common ground to have discussions with because he is not a hypocritical liar. He just has differing opinions.
Half of them are liberals. Therefor a good portion of that half are completely amoral, brainwashed idiots.
To be fair...you have to try to understand the typical liberal person though. They are EMOTIONAL people. Their emotions rule their behavior more so than their logic. As such, they are illogical often times and burst out emotional statements. Not all of them actually mean what they say or want the desired outcome of their statements. Some actually do of course...
On the other hand, they are responsible for their actions and behaviors so if they're saying things like this then people should react accordingly. But it is our responsibility to understand this and take it with a grain of salt...like the logical and emotionally balanced people we are.
LOL i literally just turned it on, skipped to the middle to see what was going on...saw what looked like a weird fucking maniac basically yelling at the camera...and instantly turned it off after about 2.5 seconds.
I think you misunderstand...the top poster was saying to boycott any place if they sell Goodyear tires AT ALL. I agree with what you're saying. Don't buy Goodyear, and just buy another tire instead. That guy was saying to make sure you only buy tires from a place that refuses to even sell Goodyear as an option.
You can fight without sacrificing your principles and values. There isn't another option otherwise the left wins.
Don't let the lefts bullshit stances on principles over the last 10 years confuse you with what real principles are. When we broke free of English rule we did so BECAUSE of principles. We didn't sacrifice them.
If we had sacrificed our principles and values to break free of English rule like you suggest we should...do you know what that would look like? Washington would have been King of America instead of the first President. We would have rebelled, started our own nation, and instead of keeping our values and principles that we claimed to be fighting for, the founding fathers would have just grabbed power and held onto it. That didn't happen because they (we) held onto our principles and values.
There is a big difference between boycotting Goodyear products, and then boycotting every single company out there who sells Goodyear products in addition to many other products.
Boycotting Goodyear directly hurts Goodyear and your voice will be heard if the boycott is effective. That company will (hopefully) realize the error in their ways and change.
Boycotting other businesses that sell all kinds of tires...does what? What's the goal of that? To force them via mob rule to also participate in your boycott or else they will go out of business too? This option accomplishes the Goodyear boycott, but also hurts other people as well.
It doesn't even make logical sense to boycott any business who sells Goodyear tires. Sounds an awful lot like a radical leftist policy if you ask me.
A lot of people need to remember the actual goal of this conflict.
We cannot compromise our principles to "win". The objective of "winning" is literally to reinstate these principles and values throughout the country again. Compromising on principles is literally the definition of losing this culture war.
This is one stupid comment right here.
What kind of idiocy are you promoting? Seriously. Are you 15 years old or just flat out stupid?
If Goodyear has behaved in a way that deserves a boycott then certainly boycott their products. But also boycott any business who doesn't 100% agree with you? What kind of insane leftist nazi madness is that?
Grow up. We aren't the left.
Nope - this is how you become one of them.
We can win the game by holding to our principles. In fact, the ONLY way to win is to hold to our principles. Think about it...the goal of "winning" is to hold our principles and get the rest of the country back on board with those principles as well.
We just have to actually hold the left accountable to those principles rather than continue to compromise in the hope they will also compromise to meet in the middle for solutions. There is no middle ground with them. They take every inch, give nothing in return, and demand more.
This is the correct answer.
Technically, we did compromise our principles, but it is more complicated. We held ourselves to a certain set of standards, but in the name of compromise and civility we allowed the other side to wander far afield.
The right made the mistake of thinking the left held common ground with us, and we could each give an inch and meet in the middle to accomplish goals. This never happened. Instead, the left took every inch, never gave an inch in return, and suddenly now we are miles down the road.
Congrats, retard. This is how you become them.
Nah this is a bad idea even if it sounds good on the surface. Our rights to vote should have nothing to do with our income or property.
There are other ways to better accomplish this sentiment.
Constitutionalize a flat tax across the board is one way. Want to vote to increase income taxes on the rich? You're also voting to increase your own taxes. This is fair IMO.
Eh - the attacks on Bill Gates are off base. The guy is just trying to do good and isn't worried about politics. Leave him alone IMO. He's doing all kinds of good and doesn't give a crap about politics except to try to accomplish his objectives of eradicating disease, etc.
Ending the Fed really is nonsense...
This guy knows his stuf.
