Look man I apologize for the insults. It's just that as a Christian (and not a good one with how I talked to you) I believe human life is sacred. I believe in Jesus Christ as savior of the world, and I believe a real heaven exists. But I also believe a real hell exists - total separation from God. And I believe that suicide is more than likely a final act. It's not something a person would have time to repent from in many cases - obviously so. I also personally know people that have been suicidal (from depression). People very close to me. And it's extremely sad. We don't know what most people we encounter in our day to day lives have been through...
It's the people in power driving the false narratives and pushing to fundamentally uproot our traditional American values that need to be dealt with first and foremost. Meanwhile, I'd like to SAVE as many of my fellow Americans as I can from all the brainwashing and lies that they/we are bombarded with on a daily basis from all directions. Many otherwise good people are overcome by the onslaught of never-ending propaganda. It's hard for those of us "in the know" to understand how people fall prey to total nonsense. Anyhow...
God forbid things ever get to the point of a widespread hot civil war. But even then, we don't know who we're talking to online. Many of the words and arguments used to potentially talk somebody into hurting themselves are "universal" and could be taken to heart by ANYBODY - regardless of political affiliation. Words are indeed powerful.

Other than that, you're right. I finally see the wisdom in your proposed methodology. It's pure brilliance and I propose we begin by getting the mods/admin here to remove the suicide prevention hotline banner on the main page. We know that the enemy lurks here and we CERTAINLY don't want them getting help for depression etc. And who cares if it's somebody who could have been helped, am I right? Who cares about eternity and saving souls? It's all about the here and now, am I right?
