The white car violated at least 3 international traffic regulations, one of which is an instant removal of DL in most states. My guess is the white car was a team of bodyguards who think traffic laws don't apply to them and they're still back in the sandbox. That last edit was really close but still not quite accurate. US combined forces assume operations in no satcom environment against near-peer. So do the russians. Most vehicles and electronics are emp resistant as an example. Guided munitions are also not as heavily reliant on satcom anymore and although not explicitly stated, the "neurolink" capabilities of the F-35 are more useful for guiding ground warfare than air supremacy. Everyone assumed we'd have that horrible debris field enveloping atmo past first hours of hot war but these space frogs may have something to say about that.

It's marketing 101. People will show up for food/beers even though the value presented to them is lower than that value they put on their own time and the value they put on not receiving your message. You can't give someone 5 bucks to listen to you talk for 60 seconds but they'll show up for almost anything to a $1.30 beer or $2.50 pasta and meatballs dinner. There are only 2 things more motivating (drugs and female companionship) and alcohol is technically in the drug category. Soooo if you can hire some pretty ladies and ply your customers with alcohol you have a bright future in the hospitality industry!
