I work for a biggish-tech corporation (very well-known website), and as you might expect it’s full of ‘socialists’. What I don’t understand is how this comes to be when there don’t appear to be any specific hiring policies that would favour leftists. My friend group there is basically all the based employees, who also happen to be the smartest ones there. Either there are just a lot more leftists working in tech, or they’re choosing on appearances. I come across as a bit of an intellectual, and I know a lot of leftists like to LARP as this kind of person. IDK, I guess I have a resume full of other gay multinational corps, so perhaps they assumed I’d already fallen victim to the brainwashing during earlier appointments.
