If you read Isaiah 19, one of the prophecies I expected least was one regarding Egypt and Assyria. Although Assyria invaded Israel in the past God had said he will restore it in the future, probably in the end times.

It makes sense to me.

They hope for American instability, and seek to achieve it through civil unrest. What better way to instigate that than through a false flag. It would make sense if it was done through means which would seem military, such as a mortar attack, so that the public would be even more confused and hostile.

my bet would be a reckless Jan 6 assassination attempt if I had to make a claim.

Their hubris is their weakness. Jesus is LORD, and his servants are far more powerful than any "super-soldier" that can be dreamt up by man.

Luke 1:52 He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble.

Exodus 34: 6-7

"And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

That is who God says he is. People suffer because there is not any good person on the face of the Earth. There is a reason that he is called, "The LORD our Righteousness". Because without him we can't possibly be forgiven our deeds, and not the least of those wicked deeds will be forgotten in judgement, and the "best" of our good deeds will not be remembered, according to Ezekiel 18: 24.

“But if a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked person does, will they live? None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.

Ecclesiastes 7:28,

"while I was still searching

but not finding—

I found one upright man among a thousand,

but not one upright woman among them all."

Solomon, a man who lived a life of wisdom and foolishness, and did many things good and evil, found that among his harem of women he found none of them upright, and no man upright among his court and people. How much less God would find an upright man among the whole Earth. For without him we would never turn from our wickedness, which makes the suffering in our life produce fruit, and without that turn, makes it produce only bitterness.

And while this could be seen as unfair, there is no exception for those who are considered righteous through God. Psalm 116: 15 says: "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants." If God uses the death of the Saints to glorify himself, and it is righteous, then so shall the injuries he lets happen to even small saints be righteous. But if they are led away from truth, and no longer seek his righteousness, then the deaths of both great and small mean little, and only show the peril of God's wrath. This is why the LORD is righteous in saying, "Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?"

If it seems harsh, God suffered the same way, as Jesus, who is God, was punished and killed, glorified God's name in doing so. Not out of any sort of sadism, but because he died because for all he did, in showing righteousness, he was hated. Jesus proves there is no justice on Earth without the LORD. Yet, he gives those who repent in his name more than they could've imagined, for their righteousness is considered God's righteousness when they follow Jesus.

I trust God has a plan for all, he has shown wisdom in all he's done through his arm and through his servants.

Keep in mind God isn’t more likely to hear your prayer because of some natural phenomena. Pray to the LORD according to his will. Waiting for a star to be in place seems silly, COUGH (pagan) COUGH.

Interesting way to put it. I wouldn’t doubt that the same political candidates today would be cozying up to the Soviets should they have been around.

Case in point: Bernard Sanders

Isaiah 43:11, Malachi 1:11, Psalm 2,

Don't give up, the LORD our Righteousness will succeed, be praying that these nations exalt the LORD.

"Oh, so you're against helping the poor?"

-Have you ever fed the homeless?

"Well, i'm 20000k in debt, how am I supposed to feed them?"

-Tried trusting in God?

"Why are you against giving money to people in need?"

-Its not your money.

"What China is now, is what the United States was supposed to be." There's a longstanding history of stuff like this. Persia becomes the longstanding empire Babylon thought it was, Greece becomes the cradle of civilization Persia thought it was, Rome becomes the standard for empires as Greece thought it was, etc. God punishes prideful nations righteously, to say we should take Psalm 2 seriously would be a vast understatement.

I’d upvote but I succumb to appearing more moderate than I actually am, for the sake of not having to deal with the drama of reconciling who people think trump supporters are with who people know I am.
