So much fuckery came about on election night. I watched the election closely (for the most part) and saw Trump's lead in so many states early on.
American elections are always like this. Some areas count much faster than others, so it's very common for candidates to jump to huge leads and then fall behind later if their strongholds happened to get counted first. For example Biden led in Florida and North Carolina early on, then Trump moved ahead as they counted more votes. It literally happens every election.
Then they just stopped counting/calling certain states
They didn't, they just ran out of states where someone was clearly ahead by enough to call them early. Every single state continued counting for days afterwards - the first states to officially certify their results only did so in the last couple of days. It's just that in most states someone had a huge lead, so nobody cared about the exact numbers or the fact that it was taking so long to obtain them.
the bloody thing just stalled out for like 3 days then all of a sudden "BIDEN DECLARED WINNER"
It was pretty clear late on election night that Biden was likely to win, if you listened to literally any independent election expert (the same ones that started predicting Trump's victory early on election night in 2016). If you get all your information from pro-Trump social media, obviously you wouldn't have heard about that.
