You know when you see the air quality index scores on your weather and they have that PM2.5 rating that measures smoke particles in the air? Yeah, that's 2.5 micrometers. The coronavirus is 125 nanometers wide. That means the smoke particles are 20 times wider than a coronavirus and your mask can't even stop those.
That is the end of thought. "I don't have an option" just means you stopped when things got tough.
There are probably about 100 ways you can find an alternative. For instance, most areas have groups of home-schooling parents who watch each others' kids and teach them during the day. Maybe you could look for one of those?
Or you could put your kid in day care and teach them when you get home. Or at a minimum put them in private school and YES it's affordable if you shop around.
But YOU have to do your homework to find an alternative to this. Because right now you're complicit in this abuse of your child.
